  • In September, all markets have recorded strong growth. As you have seen form the individual market newsletters, much of the growth has been driven by private marketplaces, illustrating publishers’ desire to sell impressions in more transparent market conditions.
  • Rather than selling inventory in open auction, many publishers opted to sell impressions through private deals, offering their inventory to a limited number of buyers in a more controlled and transparent environment. No surprise here, given all the transparency and fraud issues that exist in the market.
  • However in October the market contracted, and growth has been below expectations (especially in UK and Australia) both in open auction and in private marketplaces.



In order to optimize your programmatic revenue, being aware of device trends is crucial.

  • The revenue from mobile impressions is growing and all programmatic players should consider investing in this format if they haven’t done so already.
  • According to eMarketer research, the trend will not stop in the next five years, it is estimated that Mobile ad spending will gain more than 70% share of digital ad spending across the globe.
